Maybe you used to be addicted to those fascinating Cantopop, or you have been moved by those lyrics in the dim light. You would cheer and applaud for the shining pop stars, but have you ever noticed the stories and history behind those songs? During this speech, Professor Stephen Chu will explore the transformation of Hong Kong local identity through Cantopop lyrics written by Hong Kong lyricist since 1970s.
